we survived our Thanksgiving feast.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at The White House one day early. Today we will be going over to a friends house to watch all the football and basketball and of course play rock band. But yesterday, Tori and I made our first Thanksgiving meal and shared it with a few friends at our house...it was awesome. There was, of course, a lot of work that went in to the preparation and cooking of the food but we had a good time doing it. Highlight for me was everything was enjoyed and then cleaned up by about 9:30. So on that note, Happy Thanksgiving II!

Congratulations! May there be more to come...
I am very curious about the $50 bird; was it notably superior in taste?
We are on the brink of departure for Dirk and Linda's where Bob and Alan will shoot clay birds when they're not consuming the edible variety. Wish you could be there; you will be sorely missed.

yes, it was notably superior in taste. It was fantastic. I'm pretty sure the brine also had something to do with it.
